 Joy is a passionate Irish provisional psychologist with a diverse range of experiences working across adult community mental health in Ireland, and mental health and disability support for children and adults in Australia. Her background as a provisional psychologist in adult mental health has shaped her therapeutic approach, where she combines evidence-based interventions like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to address a variety of concerns. 

Currently working at CFL, Joy supports children, teens, and adults, taking a holistic and empathetic approach to help clients achieve their goals and build resilience. She collaborates closely with families, using a systems approach to understand and address family dynamics, recognising their crucial role in supporting mental health and developmental needs.Whether working with adults or children, Joy tailors her interventions to meet each family member’s needs, ensuring a comprehensive approach to care.
